Run for Feed The ChildrenSeven runners braved intense heat to run 10K for FTC in July 2006. The run follows a scenic route of some of London's best known tourist sights, such as the London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral and the Houses of Parliament. In the previous five years, the British 10K London Run has attracted celebrity runners such as Nell McAndrew, and well-known athletes like Steve Cram, Olympic silver medallist Catherine Nderaba and Olympic 10K champion Haile Gerbreselassie. Feed The Children has 12 guaranteed places for three years, which are available to serious and fun runners alike, so long as you are over 15 years old, can complete the course in two hours or less, and can collect sponsorship for your efforts.
