PAULINE IS NEW TRUSTEE

Pauline Williamson of Crowthorne has been appointed a trustee of Twyford based children’s charity Feed The Children (UK). Pauline, a chartered accountant, is managing director of Kirkpatrick & Hopes, based in Theale.

“Pauline has had a lot of experience with charities in her working life and will be an invaluable asset to the charity,” says Brian Main, Feed The Children’s chief executive officer.

Pauline qualified with and worked for about 13 years for Pricewaterhouse Coopers primarily in audit. In her role at Kirkpatrick & Hopes she thoroughly enjoys working with owners of small businesses.

“I’m really looking forward to being more directly involved with Feed The Children, a charity that does so much to alleviate the suffering of children living in abject poverty around the world,” says Pauline who has four boys of her own.

Feed The Children works worldwide, as well as within the UK, to develop sustainable communities and provide food and other necessities for those in great need.  The charity concentrates aid on children suffering the affects of poverty, especially those orphaned or abandoned. The charity believes that wherever there is famine, conflict, disease or poverty, it is always the children who are most vulnerable.
