FEED THE CHILDREN NEEDS YOUR HELP

A smiling happy child is a joy to see. Thanks to the generous donations in kind from Feed The Children (UK)’s supporters the charity has a warehouse full of aid just waiting to be shipped to where it is truly needed!  Which is fantastic!  Unfortunately Feed The Children (UK) needs the money to pay the transport costs to get those goods to where they can do some real good.  With fuel on the increase again, the price for container transport rises daily.

Without the funds to send them that aid is worthless.

The minimum value of goods in a container Feed The Children (UK) sends is at least ten times the shipping costs, so the value of this approach to helping vulnerable people is clear. The last 40ft container Feed The Children (UK) sent, in April, went to Uganda and contained a massive £325,000 of aid.

People do ask Feed The Children (UK) whether it would be more cost effective to purchase the goods in the destination countries.  More often than not the goods are not available or are in short supply in those countries. Even if they are available we could not have bought £325,000 of aid for £8,000 – so this is a very effective way of giving life saving support to those living in abject poverty. Feed The Children (UK) also has a fair amount of recycled goods that help the environment as well.

So Feed The Children (UK) has the goods and the vulnerable people they need to support, but Feed The Children (UK) needs cash desperately. FTC (UK) supporters have helped many thousands of people living in abject poverty. Can you help Feed The Children (UK) now to get the items sitting in its warehouse to where they are needed by sending a monetary donation? Please give what you can, either by sending a cheque or by donating via the button below.

Says Feed The Children (UK)’s CEO, Brian Main, “I thank you with my heart for any help you can give the charity at this time to help children and their families in great need. Feed The Children (UK) makes sure that help gets to where it is really needed. In times of conflict and famine it is always the children that suffer. We help them to help the communities they live in now and for the future.”
