TIME TO DECLUTTER FOR CHARITY

As we move into the New Year it is time to declutter and start 2012 afresh. Start by searching for hidden antiques in your attic, house, or even your shed and garage, for you could soon be in for a surprise windfall!

Valuation experts from the famous auction house, Bonhams, together with volunteers from Feed The Children (UK) are inviting people to a charity antiques valuation day. Each item can be valued for only £2 with proceeds being donated to the children’s charity based in Twyford, Berks. 

The antiques valuation day is on Wednesday, 15th February at Charvil Village Hall, Park Lane, Charvil, RG10 9TR from 10.00am to 12.30pm (doors open 9.30am).

Feed The Children volunteer Sue Nickson says, “Our last antiques valuation day was such a success for all concerned that we just had to hold another. This time it’s in Charvil and it is wonderful that Bonhams have agreed to help us again. It will be a lovely February get together for everyone who comes and supports us and it’s a great opportunity to find out what that treasured possession is really worth and help Feed The Children at the same time. We’ll also be serving refreshments and holding a raffle.”
