Trash To Treasure!

Feed the Children (UK) is making a special appeal for people to raid their jewellery boxes in a bid to raise valuable income.

The items can be any type of jewellery including rings, bracelets, necklaces, costume jewellery, broken gold and silver, and new items that you no longer want i.e. any old engagement rings, old wedding rings, dress rings, cigarette holders, or hip flasks. Perhaps people have engraved items that they no longer wear because they are either out of fashion or because they were made for someone else.

By giving up old unwanted jewellery, the money raised from the sales will go towards improving the lives of impoverished children – far more productive and useful than an old neglected necklace buried at the bottom of a jewellery box.

It’s amazing that one person’s trash can become another person’s valued treasure.

If you feel your have something that you can donate please contact Feed the Children (UK) on 0870 2411281.  You can send the items to our Head Office address at 2 Tavistock Industrial Estate, Ruscombe Lane, Ruscombe, Twyford, Berks RG10 9NJ or drop them in to any branch of National Mobile Windscreens.
